About the Role:
This role manages FMG’s technology suppliers and services, including shaping sourcing strategies, leading commercial negotiations within delegation, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to deliver value, performance, and resilience. The Senior ICT Commercial Specialist provides mid to senior level commercial and contract advice across Digital and Data and the wider business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for technology suppliers, especially key and critical vendors.
  • Engages with internal stakeholders to align business and technology needs with commercial outcomes, sourcing strategies, and supplier governance plans.
  • Leads and supports sourcing activities, including market sounding, RFP/RFQ processes,      evaluation, and negotiation planning.
  • Develops and manages Supplier Governance and Engagement plans to ensure joint governance, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Manages end-to-end supplier agreement lifecycles to keep agreements current, compliant, and fit for purpose.

About You: 

  • Proactive and experienced commercial specialist with expertise in ICT supplier management
  • Strong background in developing, negotiating, and implementing technology supplier agreements, sourcing strategies, and governance plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident in providing accurate commercial and contract advice, guidance, and training to business leaders and internal teams
