The Role:
As a Senior Finance Officer at MASH Trust, you’ll help keep our financial systems running smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining efficient AR/AP processes 
  • Providing timely financial information to stakeholders 
  • Processing transactions and keeping accurate records 
  • Reconciling payments and resolving variances 
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives 


About You:
You have a solid finance background and a proactive, service-focused approach. Based in Palmerston North, you’ll play a key role in supporting strong financial operations and informed decision-making across the organisation. You’re confident in your skills and bring:

  • Technical skills: Experience with both modern and legacy finance systems. Strong Excel skills; Workday experience is a bonus. 
  • Relationship skills: Able to quickly build rapport with colleagues, other teams, and external stakeholders. 
  • Service mindset: Helpful, solutions-focused, and committed to delivering efficient, professional support. 
  • Team focus: Enjoy working in a small, high-performing team. Open to feedback and collaboration. 
  • Continuous improvement: Proactive in identifying and implementing better ways of working.
