Senior Finance Business Partner
Location can either be New Plymouth, Auckland or Wellington
Fixed Term, Full-time for 12 months
We have the exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and commercially driven senior finance business partner to join our Financial Services team.
About the role
This is a critical senior position in the organisation. Working closely with the Head of Financial Information & Insights, CFO and Executive team. You’ll manage the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes across TSB, supporting and direct financial management for senior stakeholders.
Who are you?
You will be an effective communicator working across various functions to support decision making and planning at executive level. With your well-developed financial and commercial acumen and ability to learn quickly, you will drive results to ensure accountability for achieving the business plan. You will have demonstrated a high level of strategic thinking with the ability to take a long-term big picture view.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Influence actions undertaken within the business to ensure alignment to Strategy and key performance drivers.
- Provide business units and General Management with financial tracking & advice against performance outcomes.
- Lead Business Improvement initiatives to enhance processes across the business.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- 5+ years’ experience in business partnering or similar
- Strong financial and commercial acumen and proven track record working in large, complex environments
- Well-developed communication skills to present complex information clearly and simply.
- A mind for problem solving using a structured, logical approach and critical thinking skills.
- Financial services experience will be an advantage
