We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Client Remediation team on a fixed-term contract through to 2028.

This is an opportunity to be a senior individual contributor, bringing deep analytical expertise to complex business challenges while supporting the ongoing uplift of FMG’s analytics capability. A key focus of this role will be supporting client remediation activity—using data and analytics to identify, assess, and support the resolution of customer impacts, ensuring fair and timely outcomes for our clients.

Working closely with stakeholders across FMG, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality analysis and insights that inform business decisions and improve outcomes
  • Lead and contribute to client remediation initiatives, including identifying impacted customers, quantifying impacts, and supporting resolution processes
  • Apply a range of analytical techniques (including advanced and AI-enabled approaches where appropriate) to solve complex problems
  • Translate business needs into analytical approaches and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop and maintain robust datasets, models, and reporting outputs that are accurate and fit for purpose
  • Work alongside data engineering and platform teams to ensure data is reliable and well understood
  • Contribute to consistent analytics practices and continuous improvement across the team

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical excellence and strong stakeholder engagement skills, alongside a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes for customers.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and delivering actionable insights in a business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to work with complex data
  • Experience presenting insights and influencing business decisions through clear communication
  • Exposure to analytics tools, platforms, and data visualisation practices
  • An understanding of data quality, governance, and responsible use of data
  • Experience or exposure to client remediation, regulatory response, or customer outcome programmes (highly desirable)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
