Senior Claims Adviser
FMG has an exciting opportunity in the Claims Team for a Senior Claims Adviser for our Christchurch based Claims team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Senior Claims Adviser role involves leading by example, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to other Claims team members. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional claims service and improving current processes to enhance service quality.
About You

- Provide technical expertise, coach and mentor team members, and support team goals.
- Ensuring Claims are dealt with in alignment with compliance with FMG Claims Best Practices and the Fair Insurance Code.
- Deliver superior customer service, manage customer expectations, and achieve “win-win” outcomes.
- Develop innovative solutions and make well-informed decisions.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of both internal and external customers. Please note - as a Senior Claims Adviser you will be required to work a rotating Saturday shift (8.30am - 4.30pm) and a rotating 10.30am to 6.30pm shift (every six weeks).
