Formally known as Dunedin Casino we recently rebranded to the Grand Casino. 

Our mission is to make our visitors experience Grand and deliver a true Boutique Casino experience. 

The rebrand included an award-winning restaurant refurbishment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare and cook modern and contemporary New Zealand cuisine, among many international dishes to provide our patrons with a wide variety of options. 
  • Prepare on and off-site catering
  • Prepare and cook staff meals
  • Be comfortable working without supervision, run your section efficiently, and be flexible with picking up other sections as required
  • Work as part of our team and communicate effectively with Front of House 
  • Assist to achieve the highest standards of food safety requirements
  • Have a passion for quality and consistency
  • Be available to work day shifts

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years commercial a la carte restaurant experience
  • Ability to direct other chefs and run a busy service from the front
  • A passion for delivering outstanding culinary offerings that delight our patrons
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to continue learning under our highly skilled Executive Chef
