Senior AOD Clinician

Then we have your perfect role! We are seeking to recruit an experienced clinician with health sector/addictions experience to join our team as a Senior AOD Clinician. Working in partnership with CADS, you will be providing care in the community for tāngata whai ora and their whānau, under the Substance Addiction - Compulsory Assessment and Treatment (SACAT) Act.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team that is based at our community hub in New Lynn, West Auckland, you will be supporting tāngata whai ora with addiction (alcohol & drug) and co-existing physical and mental health challenges across the Auckland region, from Wellsford to Port Waikato. The service is mobile with access to a flexi-fund. This ensures we are adequately resourced to provide agile, creative and responsive support.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A relevant qualification & full HPCA or DAPAANZ registration
- Experience of complex case management in a health, mental health and/or addictions setting
- Expertise in risk management and proven knowledge of holistic addiction/mental health models of care
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi / tikanga Māori and of the customs of Pacific peoples
- A flexible, collaborative approach and strong people and organisational skills
- A full New Zealand driver's licence

- A salary circa $80,000 - $88,000+ per annum (depending on registration/experience), an annual $3000 position allowance and 22 days annual leave
