We are looking for motivated and reliable Gardeners to join our team at our Cromwell facilities. With both part-time and full-time positions available, this might suit someone on a working holiday, or someone looking for reduced hours per week.
Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining our lawns and outdoor areas to a high standard, ensuring they remain attractive, safe, and inviting all year round.
Key responsibilities
♡ Maintain gardens, lawns, courtyards, and outdoor areas to a high standard
♡ Operate and maintain gardening machinery and tools safely
♡ Manage watering systems and spraying programmes in a safe and controlled manner
♡ Keep driveways, entrances, and pathways clear and tidy
♡ Remove rubbish, debris, and garden waste promptly
♡ Support landscaping projects as required
About you
♡ Previous experience in lawn care or gardening (preferred but not essential)
♡ Ability to operate lawn care machinery and tools safely
♡ Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
♡ Self-motivated, organised, and able to work unsupervised
♡ Respectful and empathetic towards older people
♡ Valid rights to work in New Zealand
♡ Current New Zealand driver’s licence
