Centrepoint Liquor Supplies, Southland's largest liquor distributor, is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. Serving clients across Southland and Otago, including sports clubs, chartered clubs, restaurants, taverns, and cafes, we are committed to providing top-notch service and products to our diverse clientele.

About the Role

As a Sales Representative with ILT, you will be essential in driving our business growth and success. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining our existing client base, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to boost revenue. By building strong relationships with potential clients and leveraging your strategic skills, you will help expand our market presence and ensure our long-term success.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our client base.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients, ranging from large corporate clients to small café owners.

No two days will be the same – one day you might be meeting clients in Queenstown, and the next day delivering chiller trailers to Rugby Park. We seek someone who is comfortable dealing with a variety of clients and can build lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and operations teams to align on business strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise revenue.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute all function activities generated by Centrepoint Liquor Supplies.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.

You will have:

  • A proven track record of success in sales or a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Self-motivation with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • A willingness to travel as needed.
  • A full NZ driver’s licence.
