An established and growing dairy services business is looking for a driven Sales Rep to help grow market presence across the Bay of Plenty region.

This is a hands-on, relationship-led sales role focused on winning new business, growing existing accounts, and building long-term partnerships with dairy farmers and rural customers.

If you enjoy being on the road, building trusted relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into sales outcomes — this could be the role for you.

About the Role

Working closely with leadership and operational teams, you will take ownership of sales growth across your territory while becoming a trusted contact within the rural community.

Your focus will include:

  • Driving new business development across the region 
  • Growing and strengthening existing customer accounts 
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services 
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close 
  • Building strong relationships with farmers, contractors, and rural businesses 
  • Working alongside technical teams to deliver practical customer solutions 
  • Attending field days, industry events, and networking opportunities 
  • Managing pipeline activity and maintaining strong follow-up discipline 
  • Contributing market intelligence and growth opportunities 

About You

You are commercially driven, self-motivated, and confident in building relationships in rural environments.

You may currently be working in:

  • Rural or agricultural sales 
  • Dairy equipment or servicing industries 
  • Technical or solution sales 
  • Account management or business development 
  • Agricultural supply or support sectors 

Ideally, you will bring:

  • Proven sales or business development capability 
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills 
  • Confidence working directly with farmers and rural decision-makers 
  • A proactive, results-focused mindset 
  • Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills 
  • The ability to manage your own territory and pipeline 
  • Strong organisation and follow-through 

Industry knowledge within dairy, agricultural, mechanical, technical, or servicing sectors would be highly regarded, however attitude, energy, and sales drive are equally important.
