Sales Lead - Special Programmes
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to join our New Zealand based global sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Global Markets, this role partners with NZ and global customers. Rockit has multiple export markets and a significant growth trajectory over the next 5 years, so this position provides plenty of scope to be innovative and bold. It’s a fast-paced environment – you bring the energy and drive, and we’ll provide the fabulous product.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Manage assigned NZ and off-shore sales programmes with a focus on building volume and returns for Growers
· Build effective partnerships with distributors and retailers and implement market initiatives
· Contribute to NPD, packaging solutions and supply chain optimization specific to channels and markets
· Deliver meaningful forecasting, reporting and analysis to enable business decisions
· Work collaboratively to support in-Market Managers and NZ sales team members to achieve team goals
Skills You’ll Bring
· Sales and customer management experience, with distributor and retail customers
· Experience developing and executing sales programmes in international markets
· Strong relationship builder, able to build relationships across cultures and geographies
· Negotiation skills, commercial acumen and strong presentation skills
· Strong planner, well organized and able to leverage effective sales processes and tools
