This is a high-impact Account Manager role where you’ll manage an established customer base while aggressively pursuing new opportunities across Auckland’s foodservice and hospitality sector.

You’ll work with chefs, restaurant owners, and procurement teams, delivering tailored food and beverage solutions — from fresh produce and specialty ingredients through to alcohol and premium ranges. 

Your success will be measured by growth – in sales, margin, and customer partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving new business – identifying and converting high-value opportunities
  • Growing your portfolio – increasing spend, margin, and product penetration
  • Building strong relationships with chefs & hospitality operators
  • Selling solutions, not products – aligning ranges with customer needs and trends
  • Executing a disciplined call cycle and owning your territory
  • Collaborating internally to deliver outstanding service and innovation 

What We’re Looking For

You’re commercially sharp, energetic, and results-driven. You know how to open doors, influence decisions, and close deals.

Must-have:

  • Proven experience in sales/account management (FMCG, foodservice, or alcohol preferred)
  • A strong hunter mindset with evidence of business growth
  • Confidence dealing with hospitality professionals (chefs, buyers, owners)
  • Ability to manage a pipeline, prioritise, and deliver to targets
  • High accountability, resilience, and drive

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of food trends, ingredients, or beverage categories (incl. alcohol)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
