SEWING MACHINIST
Acrux Wool systems Ltd, home of Acrux workwear and Wild South, are looking for a sewing machinist with commercial background to join our small team in putting together our establishing line of quality wool products. We have a great facility within a central Christchurch location and on site parking. Our plant is highly technical with this position integral in enhancing and finishing off the product off the knitting machines to exacting standards. Initially this is a 35 hour per week position with the distinct possibility to extend to 40 hours.
Skills & Experience
The applicant will need to show they have commercial factory experience within a varied range of product and sewing machines. Preference in putting together wool products is a consideration along with sufficient skills to adapt and assist in development of new products. A good command of both written and spoken English is a must to follow specifications and be fully understanding of the level of quality our product demands.
