Who are you?

We have exciting opportunities to join our new Line 1 Risk Centre of Excellence, as a Risk Business Partner (multiple positions). If you have the following, then we would love to hear from you:

  • Proven stakeholder relationship building and engagement skills, 
  • Experience working in compliance or risk, or a legal role in financial services or another regulated environment,
  • A positive can-do attitude, that is focused on solutions, and
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills.

The role will assist all business units, develop, and extend their risk maturity and compliance. You’ll bring some of your experience with AML/CFT, CCCFA, FSLAA, FMCA and other relevant Acts to the role as well as solutions focused approach. 

As an experienced facilitator, you will use your expertise to assist in the development of risk and compliance frameworks for all business units, identifying any additional policies, procedures, standards and controls. You’ll be enhancing and uplifting the risk management framework whilst supporting our second line risk functions through ongoing monitoring and controls management utilising data analysis, reporting and governance. 

You’ll be responsible for contributing to risk and compliance training across all business units, ensuring your effective relationship building and stakeholder management skills will support education initiatives in developing capability, promoting and embedding a risk aware culture.

This role could be based in New Plymouth or Auckland (preferred), but we will also consider other locations and flexible or part-time working. Some travel will be required.
