About the Role

Centrepoint Liquorland is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the successful operation of our store. This role is ideal for a motivated retail professional who enjoys delivering excellent customer service, managing a team, and maintaining high operational standards.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring customers receive outstanding service while maintaining compliance, safety, and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. 
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences. 
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, and workplace safety. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor  licensing requirements and company policies. 
  • Monitor stock levels, merchandising standards, and inventory processes. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve store performance. 
  • Manage staff rosters, training, development, and performance. 
  • Create a positive workplace culture through effective leadership and communication. 
  • Ensure all team members follow health, safety, and operational procedures. 
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees. 
  • Promote responsible service of alcohol and ensure all legal requirements are followed. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in retail management, preferably within liquor retail or a similar . 
  • Strong leadership and people management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. 
  • A proven ability to achieve sales targets and business objectives. 
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Current managers certificate
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
