Successfully and collaboratively lead/manage the day-to-day operations of a Presbyterian Support Otago retail shop. 

About the Role

In this role, you will provide effective and efficient management for high performing retail store operations, via a collaborative and productive partnership with the co-Retail Managers, employees, and volunteers. You will be co-developing an attractive and contemporary destination retail experience, focused on sustainability and repurposing in alignment with the strategy for retail. 

Hours: Permanent, Part-time- 35 hours per week to be worked  on a roster, Monday to Saturday (1 x Saturday per month)

Location: Shop on Carroll, 169 Princes Street, Dunedin

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record of working in a management and leadership role within the Retail sector.
  • Understanding of Retail shop operations, particularly around maximising return on donated goods.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong planning, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proven competence in financial management and reporting
  • Possesses highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. 
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
