Join our senior management team! As the Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Establishment Manager and Head Chef to maintain our brand values and reputation while driving staff, menu, and beverage development.

The Saucy Chef on St Andrew, one of Invercargill’s leading restaurants, is searching for its next hospitality professional to lead a team of superstars. Established in 2011 as part of the Northern Tavern redevelopment, The Saucy Chef is a 90+ seat à la carte restaurant with flexible areas for functions and events.

This is a senior management position within the Northern Tavern Establishment, with the Restaurant Manager reporting directly to the Establishment Manager for advice, clarity, and confirmation.

You will collaborate closely with the Establishment Manager and Head Chef to maintain our brand values and reputation while driving staff, menu, and beverage development to remain competitive in today's market. Your attendance at weekly and monthly meetings is required, where your understanding of numbers, market trends, and opportunities will be valuable.

You will be responsible for ensuring all bookings and function inquiries are responded to promptly, keeping menus updated to meet customer needs, and developing future events to enhance our offerings. Additionally, you will ensure our social media presence remains current.

Our small but dedicated team will rely on your guidance during busy nights, which is a key part of this leadership role.
