Rental Coordinator (Fixed Term)

We're looking for a Rental Coordinator to join Toyota New Zealand on a 12-month fixed-term basis covering parental leave. This role plays a key part in ensuring rental vehicle orders are planned, processed and delivered accurately and on time, supporting both our customers and Toyota Store network. Based within our New Vehicles team, you'll work with a wide range of internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate vehicle allocations, deliveries and fulfilment activities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Take ownership of rental vehicle orders, ensuring a seamless journey from allocation through to delivery.
- Keep vehicles moving by coordinating stock, allocations and delivery activities across the Toyota network.
- Partner with Toyota Stores, rental customers and internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Proactively monitor orders, solve challenges and keep fulfilment activities on track.
- Provide accurate reporting, pricing and operational insights that support effective decision-making.
- Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and performance.
You're a motivated team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You build strong relationships, stay organised under pressure and take a proactive approach to solving problems.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in administration, customer support, sales support or operational coordination.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Confidence working across multiple systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
