About the Role: 

Our casual Relievers are an important part of BestStart and provide cover to our centres as required. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining an engaged pool of relieving staff to be available to centres across the Northern region.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Excellence: Collaborating with our Early Childhood Education centers to ensure they have the staffing they need to deliver exceptional service to our families.
  • Leading with Care: Actively managing our pool of casual employees through regular communication, availability checks, and handling employment requests and queries.
  • Building Relationships: Developing and nurturing strong relationships with key leaders across our business.
  • Driving Change: Leading and implementing projects that enhance the effectiveness of our regional reliever pool.
  • Safety First: Ensuring that your team of relievers meets the safety checking standards required by the Ministry of Education (MOE).

About You:

  • Workforce Management Experience: Ideally in an agency environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Team Player: An enthusiasm for teamwork, a track record of success, and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
