The Role:
As a Reliever Caregiver at BestStart, you’ll be an essential part of any centre you work at, providing support during sick leave, study leave, or holiday coverage. Our centres thrive on having capable, reliable caregivers to maintain a high standard of care, and your flexibility will make all the difference!
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with tamariki in a caring, respectful manner
- Support teachers and the teaching team to create a positive, engaging environment
- Provide care during periods of sick leave, study leave, or holiday cover
- Assist with the day-to-day care and education of tamariki
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be reliable and flexible in their approach to work
- Be motivated, energetic, and able to show initiative
- Demonstrate a caring and respectful attitude towards tamariki
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
