Do you love tamariki and want to give back to your community? At BestStart Kaikohe, we’re looking for casual reliever caregivers to join our whānau.
This role is all about manaakitanga – caring for tamariki, supporting kaiako, and being a positive presence in our centres. You don’t need a qualification, just a genuine love for children and the right attitude.

- Support kaiako with routines, play, and care

- Help tamariki feel safe, supported, and ready to learn and grow
What you’ll need:
- A genuine love for working with tamariki
- Reliability, positivity, and a willingness to learn
- The legal right to work in Aotearoa
- Two references and the ability to pass Police Vetting
