Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse either part time, or full time to join our Surgical Ward team. As a member of the team, you will be required to provide a high standard of clinical care to our pre and post op patients and have a comprehensive understanding of multiple surgical specialties. Due to the remoteness of our beautiful Hospital having at least 3 years surgical ward experience is necessary for you be able to deliver safe, appropriate, quality patient/Whanau centred patient care. 

Working rostered and rotating shifts, you’ll be part of a close and collaborative Clinical team, committed to delivering a safe first-class standard of clinical assistance and patient/whanau centred care.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • To be an experienced surgical NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a surgical ward setting
  • A team player with good organisational ability
  • PDRP Level 3 – working towards Level 4
  • A go-getter with excellent communication skills
