  Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Theatre Team.  This is a permanent position with hours to be negotiated.

New Plymouth Hospital was established in 1983 and is the only private surgical hospital in the city. We provide services to around 6200 patients each year. Our dedicated, fun team provides services and excellent post-operative nursing care across a wide range of elective surgical services, including orthopaedic surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, oral and facial maxillary, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and general and endoscopic surgery. We currently have a position available for a Registered Nurse to join our team.  

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate or other relevant Registered Health Professional with a current competency based Practising Certificate
  • Operating Theatre experience >2 years 
  • Excellent communication skills and be a team player
  • ·To be flexible/adaptable and to respond positively to the changing needs of the business
