Our clinics are whānau-centred and offer free accessible health services for all whānau.
Based in Waipukurau township, the service is supported by Registered Nurses, a Health Coach and Health Educators to provide wrap around support for whānau.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Te Ara Waiora is an innovative health initiative designed to reach those who may not have or see a regular Health professional. We are a free Nurse Led clinic that is focused on reducing barriers to accessing quality healthcare . We believe health education and early intervention is key to preventing long term health issues. Our service is delivered through our clinic and through mobile Nurse clinics, taking our service to whānau in rural communities like Ongaonga and Porangahu.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. We have a permanent full-time role and part-time Fixed Term role 24 hours per week for 12 months.
What we are looking for:
· Candidates with a current APC.
· Experience in working with one on one and with groups of whānau in an outcome-focused way
· Be professional in all aspects of your mahi from presentation to practice
· Be able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality
. Know our area and our local community on Central Hawkes Bay
· Hold a current New Zealand Full Driver’s License
· Understand Te Reo and tikanga Māori (and/or be willing to learn)
· Be a Team player who works with our other kaimahi or services to provide wrap around support for the whole whānau
