Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital is the only private surgical in-patient hospital on the Auckland’s North Shore. North Harbour Hospital has 8 Operating Rooms, a 14 bed Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, a modern well-equipped day stay facility unit and a 70-bed ward which includes a 4 bed intermediate care facility (ICF). 

Surgical specialities include General Surgery, Gynaecology, Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, Urology, Orthopaedic surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Urology, Otolaryngology and Robotic Surgery.  

In addition to the hospital, the broader North Shore campus is also home to a purpose-built endoscopy suite, on-site cardiology services, cancer care, pharmacy, sports medicine, radiology and more.

 

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Orthopaedic Theatre department. You will be working with an experienced management team, to help make a valuable contribution to safe, appropriate, and quality patient/family centre patient care.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • A NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
  • Minimum of 2 years’ surgical ward nursing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player with good organizational ability
  • Confident customer relation skills
  • A proactive team member able to work flexibly rostered hours.
