This is a permanent, full time role working rotating rosters with a lovely team dedicated to providing the best care while supporting one another. You will work in a nurse-led service utilising your full scope of nursing - a great opportunity to develop your skills and your career.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in this large 100-bed sunny, garden-filled care home with residents across all levels of care
  • Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care
  • Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork
  • Promote minimisation of risk and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement


About You:

  • Registered Nurse with current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration
  • Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience
  • Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
  • Empathetic and passionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives

The NZ Government COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 (Vaccinations Order), has mandated that workers in the health and disability sector must be double vaccinated, including booster vaccinations which came into effect on 23 January 2022. Due to this mandate, we will need evidence of your two vaccinations and your booster.

If you received your second dose on or before 16 August 2021, then you must get the vaccine booster by 15 February 2022.  If you received your second dose after 16 August 2021, then you must get the vaccine booster within 183 days (6 months) of your second dose. You will be asked to provide evidence of your vaccination status during our recruitment process.
