Registered Nurse - Experienced
Mō te tūnga | About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about aged care and delivering exceptional clinical care.
Based at Enliven Vickery Court, you'll lead the delivery of person-centred care for our 88 residents, support and mentor our care team, and work closely with them to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice and care
We provide 24/7 care and support for our residents, and this role plays an important part in that commitment. This is a permanent position, 64 hours per fortnight and includes weekend work as part of the roster.
Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful:
- Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and proven nursing experience, ideally in aged care or gerontology
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning, documentation, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, whānau, and the wider care team
- A genuine passion for aged care and a commitment to person-centred care, dignity, and respect
Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care, including resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation of outcomes
- Lead, support, and delegate to Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Assistants to ensure safe and effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional, legislative, and organisational standards
- Build strong relationships with residents, whānau, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care
- Contribute to clinical leadership, quality improvement initiatives, and the continuous development of the team and our services
