Make a difference in an older person's daily life working as a Registered Nurse.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Support Otago, you will lead a shift of Health Care Assistants and Enrolled Nurses to provide comprehensive healthcare to residents in a way that promotes independence and quality of life. You will develop, implement, and evaluate an integrated plan of health care as well as performing general nursing functions. You will need sound nursing knowledge including an awareness of legislation that underpins the work Nurses do. You will have the ability to make clinical decisions that are in the best interests of the residents’ wellbeing and safety. Your relationships with residents and families will be built on trust, respect and valuing the contribution they make to the home.
Hours: This is a permanent part-time position working 72 hours per fortnight on a four‑week rotating roster with 8‑hour shifts.
A good mix of morning, afternoon, and evening work. The pattern is predictable, easy to follow, and offers a balanced spread of weekday and weekend hours.
