We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses with Aged Care experience to join our team at Aldwins House in Christchurch.
We have various options of full-time, part-time and casual vacancies available, with a mix of morning, afternoon, and/or night shifts, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to lead care with heart.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with Promisia, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, person-centred care in a supportive team environment. You’ll be a trusted clinical lead on shift—working closely with caregivers, whānau and your fellow nurses to ensure our residents’ needs are met with compassion and clinical excellence.
What you’ll do:
♡ Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate resident-centred care, in partnership with residents and whānau
♡ Respond to clinical issues with sound judgement and timely interventions
♡ Provide clinical guidance and supervision to care staff on duty
♡ Complete accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the broader team
♡ Manage medication administration safely and in line with best practice
♡ Support the wellbeing and dignity of our residents with professionalism and compassion
What you'll bring:
♡ A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
♡ Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
♡ You will be InterRai Trained (or willing to be trained)
♡ Experience in aged residential care (advantageous but not essential)
♡ Confidence working autonomously and leading a small team
♡ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
♡ A genuine commitment to resident safety, comfort, and quality of life
