We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in Feilding, supporting residents in our Rest Home and Dementia Unit, giving you the opportunity to lead care with heart. This is a permanent night role with the opportunity to pick up am and pm shifts as they become available due to sickness or planned leave.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with Promisia, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, person-centred care in a supportive team environment. You’ll be a trusted clinical lead on shift—working closely with caregivers, whānau and your fellow nurses to ensure our residents’ needs are met with compassion and clinical excellence.
We welcome experienced aged care nurses as well as those looking to grow their skills in a nurturing, well-supported environment.
What you’ll do:
♡ Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate resident-centred care in partnership with residents and whānau
♡ Manage clinical decision-making with sound judgement and professional integrity
♡ Support and supervise caregiving staff to deliver high-quality care
♡ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safe medication practices
♡ Collaborate with the wider team to ensure residents’ health, safety, and dignity
♡ Contribute to continuous quality improvement and best-practice standards
What you'll bring:
♡ A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate + InterRAI trained
♡ Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
♡ A calm, kind, and collaborative approach to resident care
♡ Confidence leading a team and working independently when required
♡ Experience in aged residential care (advantageous but not essential)
♡ A commitment to upholding cultural safety and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
