About Our Role: 

  • Cargill Lifecare located in Invercargill
  • Permanent Part Time (15 hours per week)
  • AM, PM, Nights and weekend shifts

We have a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for providing exceptional nursing care, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will deliver high-quality care, have the ability to lead others, and be great at building relationships with all key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care, promoting their well-being, and ensuring our residents have a better every day.  

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad

  • Current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) ideally with experience in aged care.
  • Have a good team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with others
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
  • Familiar with computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly 
  • Ability to participate in an on-call roster including Nights.
  • Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
