The Role
At Enliven, we create elder-centered communities where older people have companionship, meaningful activity, purpose, and fun in their lives. As a Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Support Otago, you will lead a shift of Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses to provide comprehensive healthcare to residents in a way that promotes independence and quality of life.
You will develop, implement, and evaluate an integrated plan of health care as well as performing general nursing functions. You will need sound nursing knowledge including an awareness of legislation that underpins the work Nurses do.
You will have the ability to make clinical decisions that are in the best interests of the residents’ wellbeing and safety. Your relationships with residents and families will be built on trust, respect and valuing the contribution they make to the home.
Hours: Permanent, part-time 20 hours per week, 4 hours/day Monday - Friday. Rostered hours of work between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
