te Tūranga | About the Role 

We are looking for experienced PACU Nurses to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on optimal care in the immediate post operative period for both inpatients and day stay patients of all ages. Our team prides itself on providing a safe space for both patients and colleagues, embracing manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.  We have both full time and part time roles available and have flexibility and availability for a range of shifts worked between 0745 and 2230, Monday-Friday (morning and afternoon shifts only), with occasional Saturday work (rostered on a voluntary basis).  

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience 

  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate with Nursing Council of New Zealand  
  • Minimum 2 years PACU experience 
  • Clinical Emergency management skills - preferably current CPR Core Advanced  
  • Paediatric experience is highly desirable  
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong collegial relationships  
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Kindness and a positive attitude
