About the role 

We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Regional Manager to lead our Auckland and South Pacific Regional team.  If delivering on our strategic vision to increase market share in Auckland and grow our business in the South Pacific, excites you, then this might be the role for you.  There will be expectation that you will be great at business development and have highly refined skills in financial and governance aspects of a senior role.  You will enjoy people and be a role model for everyone around you.

  • Develop trusting and long-term relationships with key industry players, identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Role model health and safety leadership to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and manage regional P&L, budgets and financial performance.
  • Provide career guidance, performance feedback and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualifications in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence.
  • Proven successful experience in a senior leadership or managerial role, preferably in the infrastructure/electrical industry.
  • Highly professional with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Comfortable communicating at Board and Executive level in a sales environment.
  • Relationship builder. 
  • A track record of successful business growth through sales, business development including bids and tenders.
  • Commercial acumen including ability to manage and develop P&L and Board reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software.
