Mo matou - About Us

When you join Presbyterian Support Central (PSC), you’re becoming part of something truly special, a not-for-profit organisation that’s been helping people for more than 115 years. Everything we do is about supporting people at the most vulnerable times of their lives, whether that’s an older person needing care and connection, or a family working through tough times.

PSC has two well-known service brands that lie at the heart of our mahi:

  • Enliven:  our positive ageing services that create age-friendly communities where older people have companionship, choice, fun, and purpose.
  • Family Works: our social services supporting children and whānau through counselling, social work, life-skills and parenting programmes and safety services.

Conveniently located in central Karori, the modern and stylish Huntleigh Home overlooks a sunny central courtyard and residents enjoy the easy indoor-outdoor living. A highlight for many residents and visitors is the fabulous shop and café. Known as the Trading Post, the shop is run by residents and volunteers. You’ll often find avid conversations happening in the café.

Together, we make a lasting difference
