Lead the day-to-day operations of the Recreation Centre, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-quality experience for all users while driving strong team performance and service excellence.
Working alongside a small, dedicated team, you will deliver engaging recreation programmes and services that support wellbeing and strengthen community connection.
In this role, you will oversee daily centre operations, foster a safe and inclusive fitness environment, and support the growth and development of your team. You will focus on enhancing the overall customer experience, encouraging engagement, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across services and programmes.

• Lead safe and effective recreation centre operations
• Build team capability and positive culture
• Ensure health, safety and compliance standards
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Manage resources, planning and service delivery

You bring:
• Experience leading in gym or recreation settings
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working sole charge when required
• Health & safety knowledge in fitness environments
• Fitness or exercise qualification (Level 4 preferred)
