Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a Ngāti Kahungunu mandated, kaupapa Māori, values-based health and social services organisation providing services to our community along the East Coast of the North Island, from Mahia to Rimutaka. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whānau for over 37 years. We’re looking for an awesome administrator to join our Oranga Hinengaro (Mental Health) team and provide administrative support and manage the front desk to an exceptional standard.

This role is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. 

We’re looking for someone who can support this kaupapa and carry out a range of duties in a friendly welcoming, professional and confidential manner. This will include:

  • Providing a friendly, welcoming and professional reception for all staff and visitors
  • Ensuring that whaiora/client inquiries are appropriately triaged, directed and satisfactorily concluded
  • Making internal and external phone calls and face-to-face inquiries efficiently and effectively
  • Creating patient profiles in our system
  • Management of whaiora/client records, referrals and all other files
  • Management of bookings and outpatient appointments 

We are looking for applicants with:

  • A current, full driver’s licence
  • High-level skills in all Microsoft programs
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and visual
  • Effective time-management
  • A great work ethic
  • Experience working effectively with Māori whānau
