We’re looking for a great Advisor to join the Group Quality team at WineWorks Marlborough.
In this role you will be the key compliance contact person for Clients, WineWorks Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring certifications are in place and that Food Safety and Quality systems are being followed and properly managed. The role also involves working with the team to focus on continuous improvement and client communication.
You will be assisting the Group Quality Systems Manager in a wide variety of support plus an opportunity to get involved with exciting project work.

We are looking for someone with the ability to:
- Support Operational Managers and Team Leaders in understanding their responsibilities to meet the requirements for our certifications.
- Deliver basic training for Team Members and Team Leaders on the system to ensure they understand their responsibilities.
- Work with a minimum level of supervision.
- Work to a high degree of accuracy and commitment.
- Work on multiple routine and project-related tasks and effectively manage your time.
- Learn and develop internal systems and processes and have an inquisitive mind.
- Build effective relationships with all levels of the business and with external suppliers and auditors.
Applicants with experience in food safety and quality compliance systems, auditing and with a food safety qualification would be desirable.

- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a quality systems or operational leadership role gained in a similar industry such as brewing, contract bottling or large winery.
- A food safety qualification is desirable
- Internal auditing skills training and experience in food safety auditing
- Advanced HACCP training
- VACCP/ TACCP training
- Ability to advise on food safety and quality issues that come up across operational areas
