About the role

This is a hands-on QA role where you’ll test and improve our mobile and online banking applications, plus the APIs that connect them. You’ll be involved early in solution design, help lift quality standards across the board, and support our systems once they’re live.

You’ll work closely with our Technology Services team, building and maintaining test scripts, automation pipelines, and strong quality practices. We’re looking for someone curious, proactive, and happy to share knowledge with others.

What you’ll be doing

  • Testing mobile and web applications to make sure they’re reliable, secure and easy to use
  • Building and maintaining automated tests and QA tools
  • Supporting the core banking platform 
  • Helping ensure security, performance and data quality standards are met
  • Sharing knowledge and continuously improving how we test and deliver software
  • Supporting the core banking platform, including being part of a shared 24/7 on-call roster

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical role
  • 5+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Strong experience testing mobile and web applications
  • Hands-on experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working
  • A relevant degree in computer science, systems analysis or equivalent experience
  • A clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
