Qualified & Certificated Teacher (Across Two Centres)

BestStart Kelvin Street and BestStart Waihopai Kindy are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our energetic, collaborative team. About the Role

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across both centres.

Role Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified with a B Ed / Diploma in Teaching (Level 7 ECE) and holds current Teacher Certification
  • Knowledgeable in child-led curriculum design, planning, and extending learning opportunities
  • Confident in their understanding of ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
  • Committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi within their teaching practice
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality education and care
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across two teams and embrace variety in their day
