About the Role

This is a permanent position, 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We welcome teachers with a passion for any age group, and your strengths will help guide your classroom placement.

Our centre features four modern classrooms and two spacious outdoor areas, each designed to support children’s developmental stages. Every space encourages exploration, creativity, and meaningful learning. We prioritise flexible transitions, ensuring each tamaiti moves when they are ready and supported.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who is committed to making a genuine difference in the lives of young learners. You will bring:

  • A Level 7 ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current certification
  • Strong understanding of child‑led curriculum, planning, and extending learning
  • Solid knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance
  • A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your teaching practice
  • Passion, professionalism, and a drive to deliver high‑quality learning experiences
