About the Role
We’re looking for a Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our mixed over 2’s Pukeko Room, working 30–35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Our busy preschool room is a spacious, engaging environment where tamariki are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through play. We value the tuakana-teina approach — fostering learning relationships between older and younger children that celebrate the richness of Māori culture.
What We’re Looking For
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and a current Teaching Certification
- Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and learning extensions
- Solid knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance standards
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in daily practice
- A passion for teaching, teamwork, and continuous learning
