About the role
This is a fixed-term, full-time position covering parental leave from September 2026 to April 2027. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You may work in our infants and toddlers space or with our over-two-year-olds, depending on where your passion and strengths lie.
Role requirements
We’re looking for a teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and who brings a strong sense of teamwork and professionalism.
You will have:
- A Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Teaching or equivalent Level 7 ECE qualification
- Current teacher certification
- An understanding of child-led curriculum, learning documentation and how to extend children’s learning
- Good knowledge of the current ECE regulations and Te Whāriki, with a strong commitment to compliance
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive pedagogical practice
- A passion for teaching, learning and delivering high-quality care and education
