About The Role:

BestStart Waiuku has proudly supported tamariki and their whānau since 2008, providing an inclusive, engaging environment where children are empowered to learn, grow, and thrive. Our local curriculum celebrates each child's unique learning journey, symbolised by the feather, representing growth, belonging, and the kete of knowledge they build along the way.

Our Preschool room provides rich, child-led learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and school readiness. Guided by the values of manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga, ako, whanaungatanga, and kotahitanga, we encourage children to become confident, capable learners through meaningful play, exploration, and strong connections with our local community, including regular visits to Sandspit Beach and Waiuku Library.

As a Qualified Teacher, you'll join a collaborative and passionate team where you'll be supported to grow your skills while creating engaging learning experiences that prepare our preschoolers for their next stage of learning.
