BestStart Wainoni Road is looking for a passionate, dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our energetic, tight‑knit team. This fixed‑term position (parental leave cover) runs from May 2026 to October 2026, working within our Prep School and Preschool.

About the Role
Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced educator, if you’re passionate about teaching young children, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a fixed‑term role, working 29.5 hours per week, Monday–Thursday:
- Monday: 5.5 hours (9am–3pm)
- Tuesday–Thursday: 8 hours per day
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and thrives in a team dedicated to excellence.
You will bring:
- A BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher certification
- Strong understanding of child‑led curriculum, planning, and extending learning
- Solid knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance
- A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your teaching practice
- Passion, professionalism, and a drive to deliver high‑quality learning experiences
