BestStart Waikanae is looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our energetic, close-knit team. This is a permanent, part-time position working 20 hours per week across 3-5 days.

About You
We’re looking for a teacher who is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and building strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.
You will have:
- A Level 7 ECE qualification
- Current New Zealand teacher registration
- Confidence in facilitating responsive, child-led learning experiences
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice
- Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and effective teaching practice
- A collaborative, positive approach and a genuine passion for early childhood education
