About the Role
At BestStart Te Whāriki, we are committed to providing an environment that is welcoming, respectful, safe, and fun for all children and their families. Our centre offers a calm yet playful atmosphere where children build loving relationships with teachers and develop a strong sense of belonging and empowerment. Our age-specific rooms are licensed for small groups of children, creating intimate, nurturing spaces indoors and a spacious outdoor area that supports a wide range of learning opportunities and experiences for holistic development.

We are a fun, kind, and supportive team looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and energetic teacher to join our over 2’s team in our 3-year-old room. Our over 2’s area includes three rooms designed with flow and movement between spaces, enabling our kaiako to easily create learning opportunities that foster Manaakitanga and Tuakana-Teina relationships.

This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) role — an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kaiako to be part of a centre that values creativity, professional growth, and high-quality early childhood education.
