We’re a diverse team with a wealth of knowledge and experience, reflecting the rich range of cultures in our community, including many international families.
Our strong community connections are an important part of what we do – from regular excursions with Kids Greening Taupō to bike riding sessions with Kath from Kids Bike Taupō. We work closely with whānau to understand their aspirations for their child and partner with iwi and local agencies to inform our teaching practices. Supporting the holistic wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a Qualified and Registered Teacher who can bring passion, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with tamariki. While the role is 25 hours per week, flexibility is essential as it will include hours outside of standard school times – so it’s not suited to someone wanting only school hours.
What we’re looking for:
- NZ ECE or Primary Teaching Qualification and current Teaching Registration
- A flexible, positive, and team-focused approach
- Passion for building strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community
- Willingness to bring creativity, fun, and cultural responsiveness into your teaching
