BestStart Tawa South is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our energetic and tight-knit team.
Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community and we are excited to be involved in research around children's Oral language and Self-regulation- Kia Timata Pai. This research involves around 1,600 BestStart pre-schoolers!

About the Role:
At BestStart we support you through your teaching journey. We have tailored PLD available for our provisionally certificated Kaiako along with an amazing mentor program to help you grow in your ECE journey. This position is based on our Māhuri Room, working alongside children aged 2 to 6 years old. Our 'Set for School' program is focusing on 'The Early Reading Program' this will enhance our tamariki learning as they enter primary school.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. The successful applicant will need to be able to work collaboratively with our team and Whanau forming a trusting partnership, so our tamariki will reach their goals and potential in our learning environment.
