About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) in our nursery. Our nursery team uses a primary caregiving approach to ensure our youngest pēpi receive consistent, nurturing, and responsive care.
Our teachers create a calm, enriching environment where pēpi feel safe to explore, learn, and challenge themselves. Respectful relationships are central to our practice, supporting healthy brain development and laying strong foundations for lifelong learning.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young learners and who brings:
- A BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher certification
- Strong understanding of child-led curriculum and planning
- Solid knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance expectations
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice
- Passion, professionalism, and a focus on delivering high-quality teaching
